I've been here a handful of times and plan on going back as many times as I can! The place has a family feel to it. Drinks are great (my favorites are the Micheladas and Chavelas) and food is better. So far I've had the Chile verde, Chile Colorado wet burrito and cheese enchiladas and am never disappointed.
The place is a bit hidden which is a shame since the food and service is worthy of so much more! -

Service was slow. There was only one waitress in the whole place and it took us 30-45 minutes to get our food (honestly wouldn't surprise me if there was only one cook). We didn't even get chips and salsa until someone in our party complained. The chips and salsa came right as our food did. Other people got their chips quickly as they sat down. The waitress didn't even come to see how our food was. There was a table behind us with glasses and a full pitcher of water, I had to serve us more water (there were no refills on soft drinks which is stupid). My cup was dirty, there was a lemon seed or something stuck to the bottom and again I had to get my own clean cup from the table behind us.
The vegetable burrito had no vegetables and tasted weird, the water tasted weird, the cheese in the cheese quesadilla was really chewy and I didn't care for it. I still wanted other food by the end of it.
Don't trust restaurants that self proclaim themselves to be the best or that are in an alleyway.
I think the waitress favored returning customers over new ones and definitely won't be returning. -

Stopped in for a quick bite with my pup.
They have a patio table and indoor seating with a bar and TVs. Hostess was super nice. I asked for food to go and then changed my mind. She brought me a cup of water and deliver the receipt to the patio table. Small place with a quiet environment on a Wednesday afternoon. I didn't mention the tacos mostly because I inhaled them. Got an Asada pico de gallo , Refried beans and a nice sliver of avocado. They were delicious. -

The food is pretty. I had the cheese enchilada. My husband had the Chile relleno and beef enchilada. His relleno was really good. The rice is very good. It reminds me of El Burro. We will definitely be back.

This place has super great, authentic Mexican food and the service is exceptional. We are in downtown Willow Glen often and can't wait to go back!!
